PGI Management conducts a feasibility study for the alpine ski resort in Urbión
Spanish subsidiary of PGI Management, Neugest 1957 S.L., and the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Soria have signed an agreement to conduct a feasibility study of the ski resort in Urbion mountain range.
There were five companies that participated in the selection process. PGI Management´s proposal was evaluated as the best in technical aspects and was approved for the further development of this project.
In the feasibility study, the development of a ski resort in the Urbion mountain range will be analyzed, within the municipal terms of Duruelo de la Sierra, Covaleda and Vinuesa in the province of Soria, starting with the definition of the location, where it would be the most appropriate to be implemented.
PGI will carry out the study that will define, evaluating economically, infrastructures, buildings, slopes, accesses and other elements, which are necessary for the ski resort, such as the power line needed for the electrical station supply, parking for vehicles, technical buildings, proposed ski slopes, network for ski lifts, snow making innovation, corrective measures and environmental restoration.
This project another project, performed by PGI Management, for ski resorts in Spain, after previous ones, both in the Aragonese Pyrenees (Aramon) and in the Catalan (Boí-Taüll and Valle de Arán – Tuca).
